8 years ago today I walked down the aisle and married my hubby. I can't believe that much time has passed...as much as he ticks me off I have enjoyed very much being married to him. I know my loved ones and friends thought I was nuts for getting married at 19, and him at 20, but we are as happy now as if we would have waited till 25 or so! Here is a card I made him. I know it is really pink but I was thinking of love, so these colors jumped out at me! I hope he likes it...he hates pink! :)
Supplies used are all SU unless otherwise noted.
Stamps: Everyday Blessings (Papertrey Ink), Gently Falling
Paper: berry bliss designer paper, pretty in pink, whisper white, purely pomegranete, white vellum
Ink: purely pomegranete, basic black, pretty in pink marker
Accessories: purely pomegranete double stitched ribbon, pink brads, dollarama mini rhinestones
First I stamped the main image in pomegranete (my pad is too juicy so it doesn't look the greatest!). Then I used the pink marker and colored in the hearts (I used a ruler to line the bottom of the fallen hearts, making that into a box type doodad). I matted on pomegranete.
The vellum layer is matted on pom. using brads. Then I added the ribbon and main image. I added the sentiment in black and added the rhinestones. Lastly I matted on pink cardstock.
Please, let him like it! :) I was drawn to this sentiment right away, so it feels perfect to me!
Have a great evening!
