Stampin' in the Prairies

Nice gift without breaking the bank.

I had a super long post for this one and I accidently clicked the close button.  So this is going to be the condensed form as I am running short on time with all the projects I have on the go.

I picked up some bath stuff in the dollar bins at Michaels before Christmas.  Here is what I came up with for a gift.  This looks like I spent more than what I did on it ($6), at least I hope it does lol.

Supplies: Stampin' Up unless otherwise noted

Stamps: Studio G alphabet stamp set (series 3) from Michaels dollar bin, Take a Bough- Papertrey Ink

Paper: Scrapbook Walls patterned paper (I used the reverse side of this paper - burgundy), kiwi kiss, whisper white

Ink: kiwi kiss, close to cocoa, chocolate chip

Accessories: chocolate chip satin ribbon (retired), creamy caramel grosgrain ribbon, circle punch, Coluzzle, hole punch

If I have time I will write up step by step instructions AGAIN lol!

Birthday girl

Yesterday I didn't have enough time to blog.  It was my oldest daughter's 9th birthday.  I can't believe I will have a teenager in 4 years. Time flies!

I made her a card using her favorite colors.  She LOVES green!

Supplies used:

Stamps: michaels dollar stamps

Paper: petals and paisley designer paper, old olive, regal rose, so saffron, whisper white

Ink:black stazon, markers- so saffron, old olive, tempting turqouise

Accessories: clear daubles, stickles, regal rose 5/8 inch grosgrain

I stamped the image in stazon and colored in and added stickles.  I matted on rose.  Then matted the designer paper on saffron.  I added the ribbon and matted on olive card base.  Then I added the main image layer.  Lastly I added the daubles.  Done like dinner!  Have a great day!
