Here is another set I bought from Papertrey. I love the fact that I have this set in my possession for cards for peaple at church. I found I just didn't have anything for a christian card. So yay!
Supplies:
Stamps: everyday blessings
Paper: whisper white, Everyday blessings patterned paper (papertrey), vellum
Ink: black stazon
Accessories: banana brads, bashful blue taffeta ribbon
I stamped the cross with stazon on vellum. Then I used a piece of patterned paper under it and a different design of it behind that. I then attached with the brads. I distressed the edge of the patterned layer, added the ribbon and attached it to the white card base. I thought that would give it a more elegant and simple look. Lastly I added the sentiment stamped in stazon.
Catch ya tomorrow!
I'm mostly frustrated by the lack of scrapping and visual journal layouts on the subject of spirituality -- they seem very superficial, as if 'prepped then posed' for the purposes of publication. I'm ever on the hunt for those pure, raw spiritual expressions. The card reminded me!
